Comment: After graduation I attended U of F for 2 years and transferred to FSU where I graduated in 1971 with a BS in Nursing. I interviewed for my first nursing position August of 1971 over the phone. Started working as a Public Health Nurse in Greensboro, North Carolina in September of 1971. In 1975 I accepted a Teaching Assistant position at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the school of Nursing for three years. In 1979 I completed my Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I worked at a rehabilitation hospital associated with Wake Forest University as a Clinical Supervisor after completing my MPH. I accepted an Associate Professor position at Guilford Technical Community College 1985 where I taught associate degree nursing students for 19 years. After which I retired from state service. I then decided to go back into direct patient care by working for the local health system, Cone Health. The last 16 years at Cone I worked in the Infectious Disease Clinic providing care to patients Living with HIV. I retired from Cone Health in 2021.
I have been enjoying my retirement by traveling to Europe and Canada and visiting with my family.
My children, Bret and Lauren, were born in 1981 and 1986. Both are happily married. Bret has two sons who are now 14 and 12. They live in Charlotte, North Carolina. My daughter and her husband live in Richmond, Virginia. My children live close enough that I can see them in 3 hours time.

I operated and managed a waste water treatment plant untill 2015.health ok.will be in santa fe next september. hope to see how we all grew up.

Comment: Life has certainly been very busy for the last 50 years!!!  I will give you the cliff notes.

My husband, Bud and I recently celebrated our 48th anniversary.

We raised four wonderful children in the mountain town of Durango, Colorado.

(two sons and two daughters)

I retired after 29 years of teaching music in 2015.

Five of our grandchildren live in Durango, and one resides in N.Y.C.

My hobbies over the years include hiking, musical direction at our local theatres,

teaching piano, and travel.  I have been very lucky to travel to Europe, Asia, the the U.K.  My favorite destination is always to see my youngest grandchild in New York.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Santa Fe !
