I graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1972 with a BSChE. Linda and I were married June 3, 1972 and moved to Bartlesville, OK where I worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for the next 29 years. For 10 of those years Phillips had me travel around the world setting up representatives & distributors to market analytical and digital computer equipment. I resigned in 2001 as I had always wanted to operate my own business. Linda and I formed The Learning Key, LLC. in September 2001 and tutored 10,000+ low income students all over South Carolina in reading and math for the next 13 years. We both retired in 2014. We have lived in Greenville, SC for the last 34 years and spend a lot of our time at Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island. I stay busy doing a lot of cooking, reading, visiting my two sons and my daughter in law (David, Cliff and Cindy), playing golf, working out, and traveling to see friends, national parks and overseas destinations. |
