Gus and I just booked our air travel to Santa Fe! Decided to stop along the way so we could arrive directly into SF. We'll see how that works. So, where to begin with my profile? With Gus as a dentist it was easy to keep my Dental Hygiene (Northwestern U.) career going, sometimes part time, sometimes only when needed, while raising three children in Northbrook and then Lake Bluff, Illinois. We enjoyed many summers in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and now spend our retirement summers in Green Lake, Wisconsin. Our entire family rides road bikes and each new bride or groom was given a bike as a wedding gift. We even ride here in Florida though the lack of hills makes training for bike trips with Bicycle Adventure Club (we have been on at least 13 trips) a challenge. We have also enjoyed four trans-america bicycle trips with family and friends. Needless to say, Gus was the driving force for these rides, though he is quick to say that I put them together! My interests are many. At the moment I am enjoying a tennis revival after many years off the courts. It has been a great way to meet new friends here in SW Florida. I also play some golf and continue to learn the intricacies of water color painting. So...the cup is full and I look forward to catching up with classmates at the reunion. |
